Shloka of the Day

karmaṇy-evādhikāras te mā phaleṣhu kadāchana
mā karma-phala-hetur bhūr mā te saṅgo 'stvakarmaṇi

You have a right to perform your prescribed duties, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions. Never consider yourself to be the cause of the results of your activities, nor be attached to inaction.

This is the most famous verse of the Gita. It teaches us to focus on our duties without being attached to the outcomes. We should work with full dedication without worrying about results.

Tumhara karm karne mein hi adhikar hai, phalon mein kabhi nahi. Tum karmaphal ke hetu mat bano aur akarm mein bhi tumhari asakti na ho.
